The theme of Transfiguration of Jesus as a culmination of the union between Ethical and Aesthetical already was developed by me in the project “The Sun of Truth, Good and Beauty” a few years ago. That time I was trying to discover by the non-by-hands-made techniques the fact of the inexplicable Jesus transfiguration. In the project “Tabor” I’ve tried to go upon this them apophaticaly, through the form of ascension, elevation, moving on to the top of God and Men Unity, that calling Kingdom of Haven. Here first of all I was interesting in the form, that reveal itself the substance, form as a movement, a function – the plastic categories that were developing by the first Russian avant-garde, in the context of contemporary art. Artificial Mountain in ideal, must be of such a size, than each ledge of this ziggurat will be proportionate with a footstep, or better even bigger, than the ascent to the top will be carrying out with some difficulty, with a deep feeling. The spectator is inviting somehow by the very form of the art object to participate in action, involving in to a happening, to the process of elevation, that imply in some extent a Transfiguration. “Tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father” (John 14:12)
